Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in Newington, NH is seeking a Senior Sustaining Engineer for Electromechanical Systems to lead ongoing support and improvements across existing products.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to resolve production issues, drive reliability and cost improvements, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience supporting complex electromechanical products and assemblies.
• Advanced proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and PLM systems.
• Experience working with machined, molded, stamped, and MIM components.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive product and process improvements that enhance reliability, manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, and Operations to implement effective engineering solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for electromechanical systems and product performance.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians.

AsaSeniorSustainingEngineer,youwillserveasatechnicalleaderresponsibleforsupportingandimprovingexistingelectromechanicalproductsthroughouttheirlifecycle.YouwillworkcloselywithEngineering,Operations,Quality,SupplyChain,andManufacturingteamstoresolveproductionissues,implementproductenhancements,andensurethesuccessfultransitionofnewproductsintoproduction.

PreferredQualifications

• ShaininRedXand/orSixSigmacertification.
