Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Supervisor at our US site in Camden, AR. The role focuses on inventory management, material control, and cross‑functional coordination to support multi‑program production demand.

You will lead a team of logistics personnel, ensure accurate cycle counts, and maintain regulatory compliance, including security and government requirements. The position emphasizes safe, efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • US citizen with ability to obtain required DoD clearance.
  • Ability to obtain ATF clearance.
  • Experience leading large, complex teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily inventory management operations to ensure accuracy, availability, and compliance across all warehouse activities.
  • Supervise logistics personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and developing future leaders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancies, audits, and root-cause actions.
  • Coordinate material flow to production, kitting, and shipping/receiving with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Planning.
  • Monitor inventory health metrics and drive improvement actions.
  • Support audits and compliance including property management and classified material handling.
  • Standardize warehouse practices: labeling, storage, traceability, SAP/PRISM discipline.
  • Collaborate on layout optimization and capacity planning for growth.

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Supervisor with strong experience in inventory management, material control, warehouse operations, and cross‑functional coordination. This leader will supervise day‑to‑day logistics activities for their assigned area, driving accuracy, compliance, and material availability in support of multi‑program production demand. The role is responsible for creating a high‑performance environment that supports safe, efficient, and reliable operations.


What You Will Do


  • Lead daily inventory management operations to ensure accuracy, availability, and compliance across all warehouse and material‑handling activities

  • Supervise a team of logistics personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and developing future leaders

  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, material audits, and root‑cause/corrective actions

  • Ensure timely material flow to production, kitting, and shipping/receiving areas by coordinating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Planning

  • Monitor inventory health metrics (accuracy, cycle count performance, aging, excess/obsolete risks) and implement improvement actions

  • Support audits and compliance activities, including property management, classified material handling, and recordkeeping requirements

  • Drive standardization of warehouse practices, including labeling, storage methods, material traceability, and SAP/PRISM transaction discipline

  • Collaborate on layout optimization, warehouse capacity planning, and material flow improvements to support rate increases and multi‑program growth

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the logistics team

  • Ensure adherence to all company processes, security requirements, and government regulations


Qualifications You Must Have


  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

  • People management/leadership skills.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer


  • Demonstrated people‑leadership skills with experience guiding large and complex teams

  • Clear understanding of hazardous material classifications, specifically Class 1

  • Experience handling hazardous materials, including Class 1 compatibility rules, within a DoD or defense‑contractor environment

  • Strong understanding of regulations governing the handling, processing, and movement of dangerous or sensitive materials (CFR, DFARS, FAR, ITAR, DoD, DSS)

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and influence across organizational levels and functions

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
