Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned program manager in Texas to drive forecasting, demand planning, and material allocations for our high-volume data center supply chains. You will coordinate with hardware engineering and logistics teams to optimize inventory, reduce lead times, and improve service levels across a global supplier network.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. In This Role, You Will
  • Perform forecasting, demand analysis, material/inventory management, and manage supply buffers
  • Understand manufacturing processes to verify supply commitments and reduce cycle times
  • Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocation and monitor changes and cancellations
  • Participate in requirements gathering
  • Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation
  • Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings
  • Produce written recommendations and insights to inform key stakeholders of supply chain health and help shape solution design

  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
  • Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
