Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense Maritime is a world leader in complex electromechanical systems and sensors. We seek a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead Material Integrators and Strategic Sourcing within a DoD contracting environment.

You will drive full MRP integration (Oracle preferred), develop reporting tools to identify required actions, and implement annual material and logistics cost-savings initiatives. You will oversee all quoting activity to support BD and program sustainment, ensuring on-time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3–8 years of management experience.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Strong negotiation and sourcing experience.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain KPIs for requisition to PO cycle, late deliveries, and supplier performance.
  • Oversee sourcing, planning, and purchasing processes for ongoing benefits to the business.
  • Assist buyers with sourcing and negotiating activities.
  • Oversee quoting/sourcing to ensure on-time, quality prime proposals.
  • Guide customer and supplier quotations with effective negotiation.
  • Negotiate complex requests from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in program reviews and lifecycle activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Lead a team of Material Integrators and Strategic Sourcing personnel within a DoD defense contracting environment. Drive full MRP integration (Oracle preferred) from a Supply Chain Management perspective, including development and oversight of reporting tools that identify required actions and deliver measurable results. Establish, track, and implement annual material and logistics cost‑savings initiatives. Oversee all quoting activity in support of Business Development, Business Capture, and ongoing program sustainment efforts. Partner with the Procurement Manager and Program Managers to ensure on‑time delivery (OTD) of materials and finished product in alignment with DoD program requirements and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities And Tasks
  • Establish and maintain KPIs for 1) requisition staleness: executing time from requisitions to POs, 2) late deliveries, 3) Utilization of long-term agreements, and 4) overall efficiency of the Supply Chain.
  • Continually assess all sourcing, planning and purchasing processes to ensure their applicability and overall effectiveness is providing ongoing benefits for the business.
  • Assist buyers as required for sourcing and negotiating activities.
  • Oversee all quoting/sourcing activity to support and ensure that the quoting process is accurate, efficient and provides on‑time‑delivery of quality prime proposals.
  • Provides guidance on customer and supplier quotations utilizing appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service, as required.
  • Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in or manage project excess and obsolescence and / or end of life processes...
  • Participate in all Program Reviews (New Product Reviews and Product Design Reviews) as required.

Education, Experience, Licenses And Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree plus three to eight years management related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills And Abilities
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers with strong, reliable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated execution skills within MRP/ERP, preferably Oracle, software which includes sales
  • order processing, MRP, BOM, inventory management, production control, and purchase order management tools,
  • Ability to demonstrate experience with project management tools.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively lead others and act as a member on teams.
  • Ability to manage time effectively through managing multiple projects at one time.
  • Be a highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to think outside of the box.
  • Have a demonstrated and proven high level of analytical ability.
  • Have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
