Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an Inventory Management Coordinator to efficiently manage supply chain functions. The role focuses on maintaining inventory levels and coordinating with clinical staff to optimize supply room organization.

Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Assistant Director, coordinates and administers a lean supply support system designed to operate efficiently and meet the needs of clinical areas across OSU Wexner Medical Center. Maintains and manages inventory levels within assigned clinical areas and performs a full range of supply chain functions in procedural areas, including demand forecasting, requisitioning, inventory control, and implant/consignment management. Oversees case picking activities and collaborates with clinical staff to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of preference cards. Responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of the two-bin Kanban inventory system.
Serves as a key liaison among clinical staff, supply chain personnel, and vendors to address supply chain-related matters, including expiration date monitoring, cycle counting, annual physical inventories, par level analysis, product evaluations and trials, product conversions and discontinuations, preference card management, storage flow optimization, and overall supply room organization and efficiency.
High School diploma or GED and 2 years of inventory management experience.
