The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for optimizing grain and crush assets as it relates to port logistics and vessel operations in the North America. By performing duties associated with capacity planning, terminal performance, transportation coordination (barge, vessel, rail, etc.) for multiple commodity supply chains, the Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will align sales, load schedules, and supplies to facilitate and govern decisions based on operational efficiency, cost management and risk reduction. With constant focus on planning, execution, and operations, to ensure optimal results, the Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with Management playing a lead role in creating plans and analyzing and reporting data related to the day-to-day activities of vessel loading to ensure timely and optimal decisions are executed. Additionally, this role will support all documentation processes for contracts and other trade related activities, including accurate and timely data and systems management. The Sr. Logistics Analyst will assist in managing and mentoring other roles and will work close with leadership to recommend changes and navigate through obstacles. Using metrics to support alignment across Bunge’s value chains, the Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will be expected to provide information and feedback to drive a high performing team.
This is a cross functional role to the organization that interfaces with multiple internal regional and global teams and external groups. The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will be required to collaborate with Commercial, Logistics, Operations, and Trade Execution. This position is also responsible for maintaining relationships and communicating effectively with these groups along with others including Accounting, Legal, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Information Technology.
