Job summary

Lakeshore Talent is seeking a Senior Supplier Program Manager in Greenwood Village, CO, to lead a team of 4–5 managers. You will oversee supplier relationships, contracts, pricing, and performance while aligning procurement with program timelines and costs.

The ideal candidate has extensive procurement and supply chain experience in aerospace, with strong RFP/RFQ, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Onsite role with relocation support potential.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of procurement, supply chain, supplier management, or program management experience.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or people-management experience.
  • Aerospace experience, particularly with satellites, spacecraft, payloads, or technical aerospace systems.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and supplier management principles.
  • Experience managing complex aerospace or technical suppliers.
  • Experience guiding contract, pricing, and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong RFP/RFQ experience.
  • Experience forecasting, material availability, supplier capacity, and lead-time management.

Job description

Lakeshore Talent is partnering with an innovative aerospace and space technology organization to identify an experiencedSenior Supplier Program Managerto join their growing procurement team. This leadership role will oversee a team of 4-5 Supplier Program Managers while managing strategic supplier relationships, negotiations, forecasting, material availability, and supplier performance.

Location:Greenwood Village, CO

Compensation:$155,000 – $175,000 annually

Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Work Arrangement:Fully onsite, 5 days per week

This position plays a key role in ensuring supplier commitments align with technical requirements, program timelines, costs, and what the business can realistically deliver. The role works closely with Engineering, Program Management, Business Development, Finance, and other cross-functional teams, serving as a critical link between procurement strategy and overall program execution.

The ideal candidate brings strongprocurement and supply chain expertise paired with aerospace or satellite experience, particularly within highly technical payload environments. This is also a process-improvement-focused role, offering the opportunity to build structure, improve supplier management practices, and help shape processes within a growing and evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supplier Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-5 Supplier Program Managers.
  • Oversee strategic supplier relationships, contracts, negotiations, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Guide RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, forecasting, and material availability.
  • Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and responsiveness, implementing corrective actions and risk mitigation as needed.
Procurement & Process Improvement
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with program and business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across supplier management and procurement processes, creating greater structure, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Analyze supplier pricing, proposals, capabilities, and capacity to support cost-effective decisions.
  • Ensure procurement decisions and supplier commitments are realistic and aligned with program requirements.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and other teams to resolve supplier issues and support successful program execution.
  • Serve as a procurement subject matter expert, helping teams understand supplier capabilities, costs, risks, lead times, and material constraints.
  • Provide leadership with clear reporting on supplier performance, risks, procurement activity, and program status.
Compliance & Cost Management
  • Support procurement budgets, cost-control initiatives, and supplier cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure supplier agreements and procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations, including FAR/DFAR.
What We're Looking For

The strongest candidates will bring:

  • 10+ years of procurement, supply chain, supplier management, or program management experience.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or people-management experience.
  • Aerospace experience is highly important, particularly experience working with satellites, spacecraft, payloads, or highly technical aerospace systems.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and supplier management principles.
  • Experience managing complex aerospace or technical suppliers.
  • Experience guiding contract, pricing, and supplier negotiations.
  • StrongRFP/RFQ experience.
  • Experience evaluating supplier performance using measurable KPIs and metrics.
  • Experience with forecasting, material availability, supplier capacity, and lead-time management.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating supplier and supply chain risks.
  • Demonstrated success drivingprocess improvementin procurement or supply chain environments.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment where processes and procedures are still being developed.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • Advanced degree or certifications such as APICS or PMP are a plus.
Systems
  • Experience with ERP systems required.
  • Experience withOracle Fusionis a plus, but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Security clearance experience is a plus but not required.
