Ensure effective shift-to-shift pass downs and clear communication of priorities, expectations, and performance. Support other factory areas as needed when acting as the senior leader on site.
Directly supervise hourly employees, including work assignment, timekeeping compliance, break and meal adherence, and progressive discipline. Immediately correct safety or policy violations, including PPE non-compliance, time theft, and inappropriate phone usage on the production floor. Partner with People Experience and management on employee relations matters, maintaining confidentiality, fairness, and non-retaliation.
Lead daily shift huddles focused on safety, staffing, priorities, and output goals; conduct shift-to-shift passdowns and engineering check-ins. Maintain a regular cadence of communication with planning, engineering, quality, and downstream customers.
