Job summary

Kindeva is seeking a Sr. Supervisor of Packaging & Inspection to lead packaging, assembly, labeling, serialization, and inspection operations on site.

You will ensure safety, quality, schedule attainment, and employee development while aligning with cGMP and regulatory expectations. You will oversee staffing, training, and coaching of supervisors and production staff; drive continuous improvement and coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Supply Chain to meet production

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a scientific/technical field OR 10+ years pharma supervision.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in regulated environments and union leadership preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools, Kronos, and Veeva.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure schedule attainment.
• Promote accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations.
• Review production documentation and investigate deviations and quality events.
• Coordinate activities with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Support audits, inspections, validations, and new product introductions.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, vacations, and overtime.
• Interview, hire, onboard, coach, and develop employees (supervisors and production colleagues).
• Conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective action when appropriate.
• Ensure employees maintain required qualifications and training.

The Sr. Supervisor of Packaging & Inspection is responsible for supervising packaging, assembly, labeling, serialization, and inspection operations while ensuring safety, compliance, schedule attainment, quality, and employee development. Work week may include time spent on 1st, 2nd, 3rd or split shifts and weekends depending on business need.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree in a scientific, technical, manufacturing, business, engineering, or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; OR a minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical operations in lieu of a degree.
• Preferred: Pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing experience, experience in regulated environments, and union leadership experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills required.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Applications, Kronos, Veeva
• Demonstrated reading comprehension and writing proficiency. Ability to effectively communicate within a diverse group resulting in desired outcomes.
• Self-starter, team player, with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Proven record of problem-solving, decision-making skills and application of process improvement tools.
• Must have the ability to simultaneously multi-task across multiple capabilities and functions and handle multiple competing priorities and requirements.
• Must have the ability to work effectively under and manage strict production, time and performance deadlines.
• Must be willing and able to work beyond the hours typically defined as a “regular” workday, which may or may not include weekends and holidays.
• Position requires regular onsite attendance.
