Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead high-rise residential projects from planning to execution.

You will coordinate field teams, manage budgets and schedules, uphold Walsh safety and quality standards, and collaborate with owners and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Relocation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement construction means/methods for residential high-rise projects, including schedules and site logistics.
• Select field site personnel.
• Monitor job costs and productivity on projects.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment on site.
• Develop and track project construction plan and schedule.
• Supervise, train and mentor field personnel.
• Ensure Walsh Safety and Quality programs are followed.
• Organize and coordinate all subcontractor activities.
• Project close-out; final inspections, deficiencies, warranty work and site demolition.
• Work with Owners to ensure projects align with contract documents.
• Develop work plans for major/high-risk activities.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing construction means/methods for all aspects of residential high-rise projects, schedules, productivity innovations, and site logistics in the Chicagoland area.
• Selection of field site personnel
• Monitoring job costs and productivity on projects
• On-site co-ordination of manpower, materials and equipment
• Developing, monitoring and executing the project construction plan and schedule
• Supervising, training, coaching and mentoring field personnel
• Demonstrating commitment to Walsh Safety and Quality programs
• Organizing and coordinating all subcontractor activities
• Project close-out; responsible for final inspections, deficiencies, warranty work and site demolition
• Working with the Owners to ensure the projects are being built in accordance with the contract documents
• Participates in development and review of work plans for major/high-risk activities.
