Day to day, you'll support strategic planning, distill data into clear recommendations, and help answer big-picture questions about where the automotive digital marketing landscape is headed.
We are looking for a curious and scrappy problem-solver with initiative, attention to detail and who wants to assist in developing a POV on, “what’s next?”. The Global Digital Strategy team works across Global Digital customer-centric product teams delivering on Ford.com, along with other cross-functional teams at Ford. We perform customer trends assessments, competitive benchmarking & environmental scans, and emerging technology evaluations all to inform & underpin a customer-first roadmap to deliver an always-on digital experience.
As a Senior Analyst of Global Digital Strategy, you will assist the team in researching & compiling insights into impactful and innovative strategies which will be used by digital product teams to build a best-in-class online customer experience.
Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four-day onsite presence each week.
Assist in and support content creation and preparation for annual, quarterly, and ad hoc digital strategic planning efforts for the Global Digital organization
Support development of the digital strategic plan
Assist in engaging internal business owners to ensure strategies are clear, compelling, and aligned with the broader ecosystem
Assist in distill data, insights, and information into clear and compelling recommendations
Have your finger on the pulse of emerging digital / mobile consumer trends and experiences, preferably in the multi-channel retailer / eCommerce industry, and share those insights to the broader Global Digital team
Investigate consumer research, industry research, and quantitative data
Assist in answering essential strategic questions ranging from “what is the competitive capability landscape?” to “how are consumer expectations shifting & how can we leverage our capabilities to meet them?”
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
3+ years of professional experience
2+ years of experience in digital experience strategy, either in consulting practice, digital agency, ecommerce, a global product organization and/or a unique combination of these
2+ years of experience framing a verbal or written POV to influence leaders, partners and peers.
2+ years of experience supporting global markets, working at a global company, and or understanding of regional customer similarities and differences
2+ years of experience using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is a skill that will be leveraged consistently in this position
Master’s degree
Strategy consulting experience
Experience with research tools and managing research vendors
Confident and trustworthy professional with excellent relational, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Very comfortable with ambiguity and working in “white space”
Intellectually curious individual, keeping up to date with relevant trends
Comfortable contributing to framing and explanation of sophisticated ideas and concepts in accessible language
Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail. You take responsibility of your own time management and deliverables and relentlessly push to improve and outdo yourself in your work

This position is a salary grade7 or 8 and ranges from $86,600- 166,200
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
