Description

As a Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager you will be at the forefront of strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon’s supply chain operations. In this influential role, you will lead high-impact projects and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will own defining and executing a Supply Chain Roadmap for several strategic categories in Home and Kitchen. You will collaborate with a team of Product, Vendor, and Customer Service Managers to drive process improvements for the vendors with a goal of maximizing product availability and operational excellence. In this critical role, you are going to help define Supply Chain to align it with Amazon procurement systems while collaborating with vendors.

Key job responsibilities

• Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
• Monitoring, analyzing and owning Key Performance Indicators such as: Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, including presenting insights, themes and trends to Leadership.
• Analyzing production and delivery lead-times and operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations and fulfillment, efficient receive process and inventory placement.
• Identifying opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability and work with partner teams on execution

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of with Excel experience
• Experience working with complex data sets
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of professional or military experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
• Experience with SQL
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
