Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior Sourcing professional to ensure Buy To Sell delivery, execute strategic long-term supplier agreements, and drive cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management across the AMER Fire business.

The role focuses on supplier rationalization, risk mitigation, and migrating spend to preferred suppliers while achieving lowest total cost and working capital reduction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Negotiated strategic supplier agreements managing $25M+ in direct materials spend.
• Minimum 3 years of Buy-to-Sell (BTS) sourcing experience.
• Experience sourcing direct materials in mechanical and electronic/electrical categories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Engage in new product development to drive business awards and support launch schedules and target cost.
• Drive world-class performance from the supply base and secure supply with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5 or more years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Successfully negotiated strategic supplier agreements managing $25M+ in direct materials spend, achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Minimum 3 years of Buy-to-Sell (BTS) sourcing experience, including supplier selection, subcontract management, and execution of sourcing strategies for resale products.
• Experience sourcing direct materials within mechanical and electronic/electrical commodity categories.
