Job summary

Enphase Energy in Arlington, TX is seeking a senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own the quality stage-gate processes for new product launches and drive improvements with contract manufacturers.

The role requires 10+ years in SMA/SMT manufacturing, deep knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Minitab/SPC, and ISO 9001/TS 16949. You will lead cross-site improvements, mentor teams, and ensure quality from design to production.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering with 10+ years of manufacturing experience in SMA/SMT technologies.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, Minitab SPC, PPAP and ISO 9001/TS 16949.
• Experience with battery manufacturing and quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own quality stage gate processes for new product launches at Arlington site.

• Manage supplier corrective action reporting for nonconformities.

What you will do

• Responsible for all quality stage gate processes for the new product launch at Arlington TX site
• Work closely with contract manufacturing (CM) partner to meet or beat daily quality goals on first pass yield/finish yield driving continuous improvement projects
• Audit CM’s QMS system to identify gaps as appropriate and implement action plan to close the findings
• Manage supplier corrective action reporting for non‑conformities and noncompliance of Enphase approved products/processes.
• Share poke yoke/best practice implementation across other site for collaboration and cross factory process improvement opportunities.

Who You Are and What you bring

• BS/MS in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/Industrial/Mechanical) along with 10+ years of technical manufacturing experience on SMA/SMT technologies with repair and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding and working experience on APQP, Minitab SPC, PPAP & ISO 9001/TS 16949 standards
• Experience with battery manufacturing, battery assembly, or battery‑related quality engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and related electronics manufacturing standards.
• Experience with battery quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Experience with high‑volume consumer electronics, automotive, energy storage, medical devices, or other complex electro‑mechanical products.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar data‑analysis tools.
• Experience implementing automated inspection, traceability, and manufacturing quality data systems.
• Experience leading global manufacturing quality teams.
• Proven leadership abilities to deep dive in detail and be hands on
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

• Arlington TX (100% onsite)

Travel:

• 10%

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $167,000 and may vary based on experience, skills, and location.

This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determinedin accordance withapplicable laws and internal equity.
