Job summary

Enphase Energy is seeking a senior Quality Manufacturing Engineer to lead all quality stage-gate processes for new product launches at our Arlington, TX site. You will partner with contract manufacturers to hit daily quality targets, drive continuous improvements, and ensure robust QMS compliance across processes.

You will bring 10+ years of manufacturing quality experience, familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and ISO standards, and expertise in battery/energy products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering with emphasis on quality systems.
• Experience with APQP, Minitab SPC, PPAP, and ISO 9001/TS 16949.
• Experience in battery manufacturing or related quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Owns all quality stage gate processes for new product launches at Arlington site.
• Collaborates with CM to achieve daily quality goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Audits CM QMS to identify gaps and closes findings with action plans.
• Manages supplier corrective action reporting for non-conformities.
• Shares best practices across sites for cross-factory improvements.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for all quality stage gate processes for the new product launch at Arlington TX site
• Work closely with contract manufacturing (CM) partner to meet or beat daily quality goals on first pass yield/finish yield driving continuous improvement projects
• Audit CM’s QMS system to identify gaps as appropriate and implement action plan to close the findings
• Manage supplier corrective action reporting for non-conformities and noncompliance of Enphase approved products/processes.
• Share poke yoke/best practice implementation across other site for collaboration and cross factory process improvement opportunities.

Who You Are And What You Bring

• BS/MS in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/Industrial/Mechanical) along with 10+ years of technical manufacturing experience on SMA/SMT technologies with repair and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding and working experience on APQP, Minitab SPC, PPAP & ISO 9001/TS 16949 standards
• Experience with battery manufacturing, battery assembly, or battery-related quality engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and related electronics manufacturing standards.
• Experience with battery quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Experience with high-volume consumer electronics, automotive, energy storage, medical devices, or other complex electro-mechanical products.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar data-analysis tools.
• Experience implementing automated inspection, traceability, and manufacturing quality data systems.
• Experience leading global manufacturing quality teams.
• Proven leadership abilities to deep dive in detail and be hands on
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $167,000 and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined in accordance with applicable laws and internal equity.
