Job summary

Grupo QuintoAndar is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to lead design strategy and hands-on craft across digital products. You will influence cross-functional partners, mentor designers, and integrate AI into the design process to unlock scalable product experiences.

Location & Work Model

• We operate under a remote-first model, giving you full flexibility to work from anywhere in Brazil. For those who enjoy in-person moments, we offer access to our office in São Paulo and partner coworking spaces. In addition, we have the Work From Anywhere (WFA) program, which allows you to work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 90 days a year.

About the Team & The Challenge

As a Senior Staff Product Designer you will operate at a mature level of strategy with a clear connection to the business’s impact. As a technical reference, you will deliver valuable contributions, sharing best practices and methodologies with your immediate team and the broader chapter. Additionally, you should take charge of holistic visualization and future outlook. Moreover, you display adeptness in leading complex projects autonomously, often facing sophisticated negotiations, mediations, and ecosystem considerations. Your collaborative abilities shine as you facilitate processes between squads and teams.

Your Responsibilities

• You will drive design excellence through a hands-on approach , remaining deeply connected to the craft while elevating the quality bar across our products.
• Navigate complex contexts to influence strategic decisions as an individual contributor, collaborating seamlessly with designers and stakeholders across different domains.
• Leverage AI within your design workflow to elevate your productivity and pioneer new ways of building user experiences.
• Act as a mentor for other designers and take proactive measures to enhance the quality and the designers’ skills in the craft.
• Understand user needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with leaders of other disciplines and are able to influence the roadmap of your line, bringing a strong design POV to the discussion.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Strong craft in product and interaction design, with proven experience building digital products, particularly in mobile applications.
• Leadership maturity, combining strategic alignment with a strong desire and repertoire to stay hands-on.
• You are proactive, autonomous and highly organized, recognized for your clear and structured communication.
• Exceptional prototyping skills, rapidly visualizing and exploring multiple product design directions according to hypotheses - always considering technical, business, and experience goals
• Track record working in the entire product development process, from problem-framing through to detailed UI and visual design;
• World-class portfolio, with a track record of designing and shipping industry leading digital products.
• Experience running workshops and facilitating co-creation sessions;
• Experience presenting design work to senior stakeholders (C-level);
• Knowledge & experience in user psychology, research methodology, and usage data;
• Fluent English skills (verbal and written) are mandatory.
• Experience on projects using AI (desirable).
