Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an experienced PLM/MDM architect to oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, ensuring data quality across PLM systems. You will lead domain technical discussions and develop roadmaps, with hands-on prototyping of emerging technologies.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with business leaders, and influence design initiatives critical to the mission. Requires strong enterprise experience and U.S. work authorization.

• Analyzes enterprise tools designs and develops a road map along with an implementation plan around PLM and MDM platforms.
• Reviews and/or analyzes and develops design at domain level and across multiple teams.
• Participates in the EA business-wide and domain governance model.
• Leads the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities for multiple teams or complex scenarios.
• Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout the domain.
• Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
• Able to partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs.
• Must be hands-on to be able to build POC's using emerging technologies and stabled hardened design patterns to be design enterprise class applications.

Work on highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge in two or more specialized design areas (Oracle/ ALM/ PLM). Contributes to the development of project and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across multiple team.

• Experience in working with enterprise platforms around ALM and PLM.
• Experience in working with Micro services, SOA, Big Data systems (Hadoop etc.), Enterprise Search tools (Elastic Search, Solr) Cloud Technologies, & DevOps.
• Collaborate with the business function to address data related problems in regards to systems integration and product structure.
• Enforces methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy at the Wauwatosa WI 53226-4856 point of entry.
• Responsible for vendor evaluation within PLM functional space, providing recommendations for selection, and on-going relationship management.
• Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

Notes

The base pay range for this position is $131, 000 to $189,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on November 2nd, 2026.
