Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, TX is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Subcontracts to lead complex subcontract efforts on defense programs with 9/80 schedule. You will coordinate with internal teams, manage supplier statements of work, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARs while maintaining eligibility for a Secret DoD security clearance.

The role involves overseeing large projects, mentoring staff, and driving procurement process improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of experience with highly complex multi-year high dollar subcontracts.
• Graduate Degree with four (4) years of experience with highly complex multi-year high dollar subcontracts.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of experience with highly complex multi-year high dollar subcontracts.

• Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
• Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.

• Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees.
• Manage complex projects at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products.
• Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area.

• SAP Troubleshooting experience is required.
• Preparing, reviewing and managing Supplier Statements of Work.
• Negotiation expertise in supplier statements of work, cost, and terms and conditions.
• Must understand FAR and DFARs.
• Tailors, and negotiate terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
