Summary

Responsible for the planning, managing, and ensuring the success of Salty Supply Chain portfolio and network projects by partnering with various cross‑functional groups to support The Hershey Company’s priorities. Projects will include Network Relocations with or without Capital Spend, Quality & Regulatory Compliance updates, low complexity commercialization initiatives, and other high complexity initiated within the Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Project management process expert – owns project execution, including project initiation, project type & tier identification, and knowledge of applicable project processes
• Provide a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful development and execution of projects for regulatory updates, graphics changes, manufacturing network changes, and other high complexity supply chain driven projects
• Partner with, or act as, Business Case Owner (BCO) to facilitate key decision making, remove roadblocks and outline risks to drive the projects forward through Stage Gate Process
• Actively manage schedule, scope, resources, and budget
• Utilize information provided by the Core Team members to integrate with project plans
• Identify activities in project plan that are at risk and execute risk management plan developed in partnership with Business Case Owner (BCO)
• Support development of project alternatives and scenarios
• Lead projects through Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Capital Project Management systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar field
• 3‑5+ years of related work experience in Supply Chain and/or Product Lifecycle Management
• Capital Project and Process experience preferred
• PMP Certified preferred
• Green belt and/or Lean Six Sigma preferred
