The Sr. Specialist - Inventory position applies materials expertise to assist with management of inventory materials at various warehouse locations and pipe yards across multiple states, and acts as a departmental subject matter expert on gas pipeline and compression related materials to support Supply Chain. The position is responsible for maintaining critical spare parts inventory levels. This requires dealing directly with Operations, Reliability and Procurement personnel and vendors to coordinate repairs to critical spare parts and requisitioning new parts when repairing a part is not an option. The position evaluates and inspects incoming and outgoing materials, validates related material documentation (MTRs, certifications, etc.) and builds supporting documentation files, and provides shipping, receiving and expediting support to Materials Management, Procurement and Engineering staff as needed.
