Job summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a Special Security Officer (SSO) to provide security support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). The role requires a current Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly clearance and US citizenship, offering exposure to high-assurance programs.

You will assist with security processes, manage PARs, and ensure proper handling and destruction of classified materials while maintaining accountability of all documents and data transfers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a security or administrative role.
• Knowledge of OPSEC, physical, IT/IA and information security principles.
• Experience with government and contractor security regulations and clearances.
• Experience with processing visit certifications and maintaining security holdings.
• Solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software.

MAG is hiring for a Special Security Officer (SSO) position which will provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG).

Requires a current Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly security clearance

Must be a US Citizen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist SSO with security processes and procedures
• Process paperwork and manage Program Access Requests (PAR)
• Conduct destruction of classified material and provide accountability of all documents and data transfers.

Following courses must be completed during the period of performance:

• ICD 704 Personnel Security Course
• ICD 705 Physical Security Course
• Special Security Officer Course (SSOC)
• SCI Overview Seminar
• Establishing & Operating an Insider Threat Program

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience working in an administrative role in a security environment
• Knowledgeable of OPSEC, personnel industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security principals
• Possess a working knowledge of Government and Industrial Security regulations and contractor clearances
• Possess experience with processing visit certifications
• Possess experience with maintaining security holding
• Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software
• Must be a US Citizen

Education

• High School GED

Clearance

• CURRENT/ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI with CI POLY
• Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years.
• Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible

Other Qualifications

• Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software
• Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS office software

The projected compensation range for this position is $160000 to $180000 (annualized USD).
