Trellix Public Sector LLC seeks a Sr. Solutions Consultant to engineer, operate, and optimize Trellix ENS/EDR/DLP in a high-security, Washington, DC environment.

You will deploy and tune security tooling, lead upgrades, and ensure robust defense postures for a critical U.S. Public Sector client. Strong communication and cross-team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, verifiable TS/SCI security clearance.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or cybersecurity operations.
• Direct experience with Trellix ePO and Trellix ENS.
• Experience configuring DLP rules and EDR platforms (preferably Trellix).
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, AD/GPO management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contacts for deployment, architecture, tuning, and administration of Trellix ENS/EDR/DLP.
• Lead installation, configuration, operation, upgrade cycles, and maintenance of endpoint security infrastructure on-premises and in cloud environments.
• Monitor and tune ENS policies, EDR rules, and DLP policies to minimize false positives while maintaining strong security.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and translate technical requirements into security outcomes.
• Perform health checks, troubleshoot agent-server communication, and analyze security alerts.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and playbooks.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for SOC and admin teams.
• Define technical project plans, schedules, and roadmaps with customer leadership.

Role Overview: Trellix is seeking a full-time Senior Solution Consultant with an active TS/SCI security clearance to act as a Subject Matter Expert in Washington, DC. The role focuses on engineering, administering, and tuning core Trellix endpoint security products (ENS, EDR, DLP, ePO) for a key U.S. Public Sector client.

Role Overview As a Sr. Solution Consultant within the Trellix Professional Services team, you will serve as a premier cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) dedicated to supporting a critical U.S. Public Sector customer in Washington, DC. You will act as a trusted advisor, leading the customer through their journey to build, operationalize, and maintain robust cybersecurity defense postures. The focus of this high-impact role is the engineering, operation, tuning, and lifecycle management of Trellix’s core endpoint security suite: Endpoint Security (ENS), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), all managed via ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). You will be directly responsible for the overall customer experience and the successful service delivery within the customer’s highly secure environment.

About the Role (Key Responsibilities)

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact and authority for the deployment, architecture, tuning, and administration of Trellix ENS, EDR, and DLP suites.
• Lead the installation, configuration, standard daily operation, upgrade cycles, and maintenance of all Trellix endpoint security infrastructure on-premises and in cloud/virtual environments.
• Actively monitor, analyze, and tune ENS policies, EDR threat rules, and DLP prevention/monitoring policies to minimize false positives while maintaining a strict, aggressive security posture against advanced persistent threats (APTs).
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and system owners, translating complex technical requirements into operational security outcomes.
• Perform routine system health checks, troubleshoot agent-to-server communication issues, resolve technical anomalies, and provide deep-dive analysis of security alerts or system failures.
• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including System Configuration Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational playbooks.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for the customer's security operations center (SOC) and admin teams.
• Partner with customer leadership to define technical project plans, schedules, and roadmap strategies for upcoming security modernizations and endpoint agent rollouts.

About You (Skills & Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications

• Must hold an active, verifiable TS/SCI security clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a systems engineering, cybersecurity operations, or professional services consulting capacity.
• Direct, advanced administrative experience with Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS).
• Demonstrated experience configuring and managing enterprise‑class Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rule sets and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms (preferably Trellix).
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems administration, Active Directory/GPO management, and a strong understanding of network security protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• DoD 8570/8140 compliance certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CEH Certifications).
• Experience working within large‑scale virtualization environments (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and public cloud architectures (AWS, Azure).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present technical briefs to senior leadership.
