Qualifications

• B.S. in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building production software with C#/.NET.
• Azure services experience across at least two of App Service/Functions, Service Bus, Storage, SQL/Cosmos.
• Strong knowledge of software design (DDD, SOLID) and async/distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and libraries in .NET Core.
• Create quick POCs using Semantic Kernel for agents and tool orchestration.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the R&D team, building multifaceted enterprise applications and high quality products for a diverse and growing international client base, using advanced development tools and collaborating closely with senior and executive management.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and internal libraries in .NET/ASP.NET Core; evolve prototypes into reliable, observable services.
• Build quick POCs for agents/workflows using Semantic Kernel (function calling, plugins, tool orchestration, prompt/version management, RAG).
• Implement cloud-native patterns on Azure (App Service/Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB) with CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
• Ship high-quality Angular components and internal tooling (Nx monorepo, Jest/Cypress).
• Contribute through design docs, code reviews, and mentorship; raise the bar on reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in CS or related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Skills

• 5+ years building production software; strong C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs).
• Azure experience with at least two: App Service/Functions, Service Bus/Queues, Storage, Azure SQL (EF Core), Cosmos DB, Key Vault.
• Solid software design fundamentals (DDD where it helps, SOLID), async/distributed systems, and performance profiling.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps (pipelines, environments).
• Practical security/auth: OAuth 2.0/OIDC, service-to-service auth, secrets management.
• Proficient written/spoken English for specs, design reviews, and cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Semantic Kernel in production (plugins/tools, agentic patterns), Azure OpenAI or other LLM providers; RAG with Azure AI Search.
• Angular (v15+), RxJS, Nx; Ionic for mobile.
• Observability: Application Insights, OpenTelemetry.
• Feature flags (LaunchDarkly), domain eventing, multi-tenant SaaS experience.
