Yum! Brands is seeking a seasoned Android engineer to design and build mobile applications for the restaurant ecosystem. You will advance consumer-facing and enterprise apps, leverage AI tooling to boost productivity, and uphold MVVM architecture across the product.

You will own features end-to-end, from design through deployment, while scaling the platform for global reach. The role requires strong Kotlin and Android SDK skills, hands-on testing experience, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in Computer Science or related STEM field
• 5+ years hands-on experience building robust mobile software
• Strong Android fundamentals including Android SDK and application lifecycle
• Good working knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android development (Jetpack Compose)
• Proven history of writing robust software with proper architectures and testing strategies
• Ability to manage aspects of the development process including implementation, testing, or deployment

• Strong background in reactive UI patterns (Kotlin Flow/Coroutines, Jetpack Compose)
• Experience building payment systems or integrating with hardware peripherals
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Startup experience
