Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a senior Full-Stack Engineer to provide technical leadership across UI and backend components on the UI Framework team. The role focuses on scalable, high-quality platform solutions as the platform modernizes toward cloud-based technologies with Azure and Kubernetes.

You will lead design decisions, collaborate with analysts and product managers, and mentor engineers while driving continuous improvement and test automation within an Agile CRD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and Java; C# experience a bonus.
• Experience designing distributed systems, Cloud/Kubernetes experience desired.
• Experience leveraging AI tools as part of routine development and work activities.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across UI and backend components, with a focus on building scalable, high-quality platform solutions as part of our UI Framework team. Our Platform Engineering organization is innovating and transforming our platform by moving away from monolithic software to utilizing next generation cloud-based technology that leverages Microsoft Azure, AKS, React, etc. The UI Framework team is an integral part of this strategic modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex full-stack design, development, architectural and implementation decisions – ensuring performant, high quality and scalable software delivery

Salary Range: $90,000 - $157,500 Annual
