SwiftCruit in Chicago is seeking a senior software engineer to build and maintain production APIs, backend services, and data-processing systems powering internal and customer-facing capabilities.

You will own the full software lifecycle—from design to deployment, monitoring, and on-call incident response—while aggressively integrating AI tools to optimize engineering workflows and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 5 years of experience in software development or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language.
• Track record delivering production software and commitment to integrating AI into development practice.
