Job summary

Enverus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Enverus Trading & Risk in Spokane, Washington. You will partner with product and engineering teams to build reliable, scalable software that delivers customer value, with ownership of end-to-end solutions.

The role focuses on data ingestion pipelines, architecture, and collaboration across platforms using C#, SQL, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP. You will mentor engineers and contribute to roadmaps.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data-rich applications and pipelines.
• Experience in a highly complex domain (trading and risk or power systems is a plus).
• Proven success delivering reliable, scalable software systems.
• Experience building backend applications using C# (Windows systems programming is a plus).
• Experience using SQL and No-SQL databases.

• Design and maintain complex and high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Take ownership of existing systems and services, redesigning them as necessary to reduce complexity or leverage new technologies.

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Enverus Trading & Risk in Spokane, Washington. You will partner with engineering teams responsible for building and evolving our customer‑facing software products, delivering reliable, scalable, and secure capabilities that create measurable customer value. You will partner closely with Product Management to define and execute short‑and‑long‑term roadmaps, oversee releases across multiple product areas, and grow engineering talent and leadership.

Engineers on this team own systems end‑to‑end, including architecture, implementation, observability, reliability, and operational support.

What you'll Do

• Design and maintain complex and high‑throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines
• Take ownership of existing systems and services, redesigning them as necessary to reduce complexity or leverage new technologies
• Lead architectural initiatives and influence engineering standards across team

What you'll have

• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience working with data rich applications and pipelines
• Experience learning and working in a highly complex domain (trading and risk or power systems is a plus)
• Proven success in delivering highly reliable and scalable software systems
• Experience building backend applications using C# (Windows systems programming is a plus)
• Experience using SQL and no‑SQL databases
• Experience on event‑driven applications
• Familiarity with Kubernetes on GCP or AWS
