Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Senior Software Developer for the Email Analytics team. You will help pioneer and operate services like Analytics API, AI Insights, and Bounce Classification, processing billions of events daily with ownership and independence.

You’ll design, prototype, and implement robust, scalable solutions while ensuring code quality and extensive testing. This remote role requires proximity to hub cities for occasional collaboration and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

DESCRIPTION

Sinch Email is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Email Analytics team. We are looking for someone to help us both pioneer and operate our services such as our Analytics API, AI Insights, and Bounce Classification. These are systems that process billions of events per day - and are still growing. An ideal candidate will have strong sense of ownership and be self-directed while being comfortable with working on large systems and thoroughly vetting changes.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

• Makes design decisions and recommendations to satisfy business requirements based on the product roadmap/vision.

• Capable of prototyping solutions to determine feasibility and provide an outline to others for implementation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in Go.


• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.


• Experience with noSQL (Mongo, Cassandra) databases.


• Experience with OLAP databases such as Clickhouse.


• Experience with highly scalable distributed systems capable of handling millions of requests and billions of events.


• Experience working with and maintaining RESTful APIs.


• Passion for clean, simple, and well-tested code.


• 6+ years of professional software development experience.

Preferred

• Experience with event processing and streaming.


• Experience with customer facing GenAI features.

This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO

The annual starting salary for this position is between $137,000 - 172,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
