Johnson Service Group is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract HYBRID assignment in Roseville, CA.

Below is the level III job description. Basically 4+ years in real time C++ and does not have to have been in Aerospace.

Software Engineer

Hybrid Work, Roseville, CA

• Expert in real-time C++ programming with 4+ years of experience. Other language experience preferred but not required.
• Expert in debugging multi-process/multi-thread real-time systems, compiler nuances, and memory management.
• Expert in utilizing and maintaining complex code repositories with modern tools (Atlassian suite, Jira, bitbucket, CMake, etc).
• Familiarity with integrating and testing flight software in fully simulated environments (ex. Matlab, Simulink - no hardware in the loop).
• Familiarity with hardware in the loop testing (HWIL).
• Familiarity with common communications protocols and networking. (UDP, ARINC 429, RS-232/485 Serial).
• Desire to work in Aerospace (ex. FAA DO-178).
• Willingness to learn details of complex aviation systems / understand higher level context across air vehicle systems. Assist in design decisions in development of these systems.
