Job summary

Toyota North America in Plano, TX is seeking a Sr. Software Developer - Privacy to lead the delivery of privacy platforms, ensuring regulatory coverage across Risk & Operations Management.

The role sits with the Risk & Operations Management team to reduce technology risk by integrating cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance disciplines. The candidate will design integrations, automate privacy processes, and collaborate with product owners and platform teams to deliver features and produce

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or at least five years of professional work experience
  • 6-10+ years of experience leading work in agile development environments, with hands-on experience leveraging CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of North American privacy laws and regulations
  • Proficient in agile development practices with an understanding of multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, NodeJS, AngularJS)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to tailor messages to different audiences (including executive leadership and key stakeholders), presenting it clearly and concisely

Toyota is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as a Sr. Software Developer - Privacy.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the delivery of key privacy platforms by leading efforts to ensure comprehensive coverage of applicable regulations, processes, and requirements for the Risk & Operations Management team based in Plano, TX.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Cybersecurity Risk Management, the person in this role will join the Risk & Operations Management team to visualize and reduce Toyota's technology risk by integrating cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance disciplines.

What you'll be doing

What you bring
