Pay Range

The Target Pay Range for this position is $141,800.00-$173,300.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $110,100.00 - $204,900.00 annually. Compensation decisions are based on relevant job-related skills, experience, education, and individual qualifications. Performance‑based incentives are available.

You’ll strengthen the organization’s engineering capabilities by designing and delivering scalable, secure software that enhances digital experiences for members and stakeholders. You’ll apply engineering rigor, architectural thinking, and hands‑on development leadership to accelerate priorities, shape system design, mentor developers, and influence engineering standards. Your contributions will improve reliability, performance, and long‑term technical health across platforms.

What You’ll Do
  • Design & develop scalable, resilient, and secure services; build prototypes, proofs of concept, and production‑ready features using modern engineering practices.
  • Lead engineering workstreams for small to medium teams through design, build, test, and delivery.
  • Model coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and champion clean, maintainable design principles.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize design, code, and system structure; drive enhancements and greenfield initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to define technical direction, roadmaps, and long‑term strategy.
  • Coach junior developers and SDETs through pairing, feedback, and knowledge‑sharing.
  • Lead automation and process‑streamlining efforts for operational excellence.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders across teams.
  • Apply secure coding practices and use static analysis tools to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Own the full SDLC: analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and operational hand‑off.
  • Build and maintain data models, database scripts, and migrations; develop solutions for large datasets and analytics workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
  • Deep understanding of secure development best practices, demonstrated by regular use of static analysis tools.
  • Proven delivery of highly scalable solutions across full product lifecycle in multiple programming languages.
  • Expertise with .NET, C#, node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
  • System administration and automation with PowerShell or bash.
  • Knowledge of open‑source technologies and libraries.
  • Experience with public cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Deep experience in server‑side web dev, modern client‑side web dev, REST/web services, large‑scale data analytics, machine learning frameworks, networking, or service mesh.
  • Expertise with SOLID design principles, OOP, SOA patterns, and distributed systems design.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity) and building pipelines in YAML.
  • Proficiency in test‑driven development, unit, integration, performance/load testing.
  • Experience with git, code reviews, pull requests, and branching standards such as Git Flow or trunk‑based development.
  • Experience presenting to technically adept audiences.
  • Experience with SQL, large datasets, data warehousing, and sophisticated ETL processes.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies through continuing education.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration within teams across all SDLC phases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full‑time availability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud‑hosted SQL‑based data stores and NoSQL systems.
  • Full‑stack experience across front‑end and back‑end technologies.
  • Experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core) and Java Spring Boot for API development.
  • Experience with mobile technologies (Angular, React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, Java/Android).
  • Experience as a full‑stack senior developer across modern UI frameworks, APIs, and database systems.
