Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the S3 Foundation team in Arlington, VA. You will work on orchestrating deployments to the S3 fleet and post-processing of S3 APIs, including Metering, Events, and Logging.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and help scale the cloud storage platform in a fast-growing environment, delivering high-quality distributed systems.

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our foundation team to support AWS services for orchestrating software deployments to the S3 fleet and post processing of S3 APIs including Metering, Events and Logging. You will contribute towards our rapidly increasing scale as we expand our services to internal and external customers. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
