Amazon Annapurna Labs is seeking a Sr SOC Verification Engineer to verify custom SOC designs and mentor junior engineers. You will integrate IPs, develop testbenches, and drive rigorous coverage for quality silicon.

Role requires 8+ years in SystemVerilog/UVM and testbench development, with experience in AMBA and PCIe/UCIe protocols. This position supports cloud-scale ML acceleration efforts and requires collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Sr SOC Verification Engineer, Cloud-Scale Machine Learning Acceleration – Annapurna Labs

Our Machine Learning Acceleration (MLA) team develops the Inferentia and Trainium SOCs that power today’s AI workloads in datacenters around the world. As a member of the Cloud-Scale Machine Learning Acceleration team, you’ll collaborate with multiple teams to drive improvements in silicon yield and performance – it’s still Day One here at Amazon. Amazon Web Services provides a highly reliable, scalable, low‑cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries. We have data center locations in the U.S., Europe, Singapore, and Japan and customers across all industries. We are seeking experienced Design Verification Engineers to build the next generation of our cloud server chips. Our success depends on our world‑class server infrastructure; we’re handling massive scale and rapid integration of emerging technologies.

Key Job Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience verifying multiple levels of design including custom blocks, IP blocks, subsystems, and full‑chip SOC system testing
• Experience using multiple verification platforms
• Experience with C/C++ and object‑oriented programming
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python
• Experience with AMBA protocols such as AHB/APB/AXI
• Experience with interconnect protocols such as PCIe and UCIe
• Experience with memory subsystems, including cache coherency and synchronization techniques
• Experience verifying complex CPU, GPU, or ML accelerator designs

Our base salary range for this position varies by location. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
