Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Scrum Master / Technical Project Manager to support a digital product and technology organization in Orlando, FL. This 12+ month contract role blends Scrum Master and PM duties to drive sustainment and enhancement work across multiple technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring structure, delivery discipline, and strong Agile coaching to teams, improving maturity and predictability while coordinating across Product, Enginering, QA, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Scrum Master, PM, or Agile Delivery lead.
• Experience functioning as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Manage and prioritize complex backlogs in partnership with Product Owners and business stakeholders
• Introduce Agile structure, governance, and delivery discipline to teams operating in a less mature Agile environment
• Improve Agile processes and help teams become more efficient, predictable, and accountable
• Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and delivery milestones
• Manage dependencies, blockers, risks, issues, and RAID activities across multiple workstreams
• Coordinate delivery activities across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, business stakeholders, publishers, licensing partners, and external vendors
• Build status reports, dashboards, and executive-level communications that provide visibility into delivery progress
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
• Own and maintain Jira and Confluence processes, reporting, documentation, and governance
• Support testing, release planning, and production readiness activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase team effectiveness and delivery success

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master / Technical Project Manager to support a digital product and technology organization within a large enterprise environment. This team is responsible for delivering and enhancing digital products, enterprise platforms, and technology solutions that support key business initiatives.

This is a true Project Manager/Scrum Master hybrid role supporting primarily sustainment and enhancement work. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys bringing structure, accountability, and delivery discipline to Agile teams while driving execution across multiple technology initiatives.

The team is looking for someone who can help improve Agile maturity, implement best practices, organize and prioritize backlogs, coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, and establish processes that improve predictability and execution.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role
• Experience functioning as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master
• Strong backlog management, backlog refinement, and prioritization experience
• Demonstrated success improving Agile processes and delivery execution
• Experience leading Agile teams within software development environments
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile best practices
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing dependencies, risks, blockers, and delivery planning
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Ability to work across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, and business teams to drive successful outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of Agile delivery, Project Management, or Scrum Master experience
• PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certifications
• Experience supporting enterprise software development organizations
• Experience with digital products, enterprise platforms, APIs, cloud technologies, or SaaS applications
• Publishing, Licensing, Media, Content Management, or Consumer Products experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience improving Agile maturity and implementing delivery governance frameworks
