Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Sr Site Activation Manager to lead site activation and start-up activities for global clinical trials. You will oversee regulatory submissions, partner with sponsors, sites, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timelines and milestones are met.

You will provide strategic guidance on country-specific regulatory requirements, track activation metrics, and mentor junior team members, while upholding GCP and SOP compliance across the study portfolio.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage site activation and start-up activities for global clinical trials.
• Oversee regulatory, ethics/IRB submissions across multiple countries and regions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site start-up activities with sponsors, sites, vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Drive issue resolution and proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting study timelines.
• Provide strategic oversight on country-specific regulatory requirements and start-up processes.
• Track start-up metrics and activation performance to ensure study objectives are met.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, applicable regulations and SOPs.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site activation and start-up activities for global clinical trials, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
• Oversee regulatory, ethics/IRB, and site activation submissions across multiple countries and regions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site start-up activities, partnering with sponsors, sites, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Drive issue resolution and proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact study timelines.
• Provide strategic oversight and guidance on country-specific regulatory requirements and start-up processes.
• Track start-up metrics, study deliverables, and activation performance, ensuring compliance with study objectives.
• Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, applicable regulations, and company SOPs.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Clinical Operations teams to support successful study execution.
• Manage multiple studies and priorities in a fast-paced global environment.

Salary Range: $79,800.00 - $139,600.00

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
