Merrick Bank is seeking a Senior Accountant – Flow Lending to support accounting and financial reporting for the Flow Lending portfolio, including consumer installment loans from partner relationships. The role owns reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes, partnering with AVP, Accounting Services and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.

The Senior Accountant – Flow Lending is responsible for supporting accounting and financial reporting for the Flow Lending portfolio, including consumer installment loans originated through strategic partner relationships or purchased from lending partners. This role owns key components of the close process, including preparation and review of reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules, while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data. The Senior Accountant partners closely with the AVP, Accounting Services and cross-functional teams across operations, servicing, and finance to resolve complex issues, analyze portfolio performance, and strengthen accounting processes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, sound accounting judgment, and the ability to operate with a high degree of independence while contributing to continuous improvement in reconciliation, reporting, and close processes.
