Greystar in Lexington, KY is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep apartment homes and common areas safe, clean, and fully functional. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help prepare vacant units for new residents.
This role requires hands-on work, inventory management, and adherence to safety policies. You will collaborate with vendors, document completed tasks, and support groundskeeping and curb appeal across the property.

This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
Incumbents need to be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas. Incumbents must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet). Job demands may require occasional heavy lifting, greater than 50 pounds with assistance. Local, routine travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Incumbents must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking "call" during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
