Job summary

Amazon is planning a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation to support our organization. You will help design and deliver an ERP that connects finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, and the shop floor into a single digital thread.

You will lead end-to-end architecture for the SAP supply chain domains on S/4HANA, define the master-data model, and manage integration with MES, PLM, BOM, and data lake. You will mentor junior architects and guide cost, scalability, and upgrade-safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience working with user or developer communities and managing relationships with SAP customers/partners.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud ERP concepts.
• Experience in SAP clean-core design and integration with non-SAP technologies including AI, data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP supply chain on S/4HANA, translating requirements into scalable design.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations to convert requirements into SAP configuration, master-data models, and integration designs.
• Own the integration architecture connecting SAP to MES, PLM, BOM and data lake across digital thread from engineering to fulfillment.
• Define supply-chain master-data model and governance across SAP and connected systems.
• Lead standard-versus-custom decisions, favoring configuration on cloud platforms and evaluating SI proposals.
• Serve as senior technical authority for SAP supply chain through design reviews, prototypes, and mentoring junior architects.

Job description

Our team is planning a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation to support our organization. You will help design and deliver an ERP that connects finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, and the shop floor into a single digital thread. We are committed to building the right way from the start: a clean-core approach, standard-first configuration, and an architecture meant to scale with the business.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the SAP supply chain domains on S/4HANA (materials management and procurement, production planning, extended warehouse management, order-to-cash, and quality management), translating manufacturing and supply-chain process requirements into a scalable design.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations leaders to work backwards from planning, procurement, fulfillment, and shop-floor requirements, and convert them into SAP configuration, master-data models, and integration designs.
• Own the integration architecture connecting SAP to the manufacturing and engineering stack (MES, PLM, BOM and product-costing feeds, supplier systems, and the data lake), owning the digital thread from engineering release through production and fulfillment.
• Define the supply-chain master-data model (materials, BOMs, routings, suppliers, and locations) and the governance that keeps it accurate and synchronized across SAP and connected systems.
• Lead SAP standard-versus-custom decisions, favoring configuration and clean-core extensions on BTP over core modifications, and evaluate system-integrator proposals with deep technical judgment on cost, scalability, operational resilience, and upgrade-safety.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for SAP supply chain through design and configuration reviews, prototypes, and hands-on resolution of the hardest integration and data problems, mentoring functional analysts and junior architects.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
• Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
