Job summary

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Senior SAP Programmer/Developer to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise SIS for the USAF. Hybrid work in the Washington, DC area with on-site support is expected.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, 10+ years in SAP development, and deep hands-on expertise across ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, PI/PO and SAP Security. Salary ranges up to $175k with extensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of SAP application development experience.
• 5+ years supporting SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM).
• Strong experience with SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, PI/PO, NetWeaver/Basis, and SAP Security.
• Experience supporting DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and enterprise cloud environments.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Higher Education SIS is REQUIRED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required DoD background investigation and system access.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for enterprise SAP SIS supporting the USAF.
• Design, develop, enhance, integrate, modernize, and sustain SAP applications.
• Develop and maintain solutions using SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, PI/PO, NetWeaver/Basis, and SAP Security.
• Support SAP SLcM functionality and enterprise integrations.
• Participate in application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and enterprise cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with functional teams, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and Government stakeholders.
• Support secure software development and enterprise integration activities.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Programmer / Developer to provide senior technical leadership supporting the design, development, modernization, enhancement, integration, and sustainment of enterprise Student Information Systems (SIS) supporting the United States Air Force (USAF). This role is ideal for a senior SAP developer with deep experience in SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM), enterprise application development, integrations, cloud environments, and DevSecOps who is comfortable supporting complex Higher Education information systems.

Location: Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)

Candidates must reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires onsite support at a Government‑designated location in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Clearance Requirements: U.S. citizenship is required.

Applicants selected for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Government background investigation and all applicable security requirements.

Salary Range: The anticipated salary range for this position is $125,000-$175,000 annually. Final compensation has not yet been determined and will be based on factors including contract award, position requirements, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
