The Sr. FICO Analyst works as a team member in the development of technical or business solutions within their functional area. Under limited supervision, the Sr. FICO Analyst handles projects of average difficulty, usually involving single platforms. The Sr. FICO Analyst analyzes customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and applies principles, concepts, and techniques of skills in developing solutions and strategies. Interpersonal skills are a key component of the position due to interactions with TK Elevator business resources and service providers for identification of potential solutions. Performance is typically measured by completion of deliverables and/or achieving Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for FICO activities to support the implementation of a large ERP program from project initiation to final operational stage; activities include design and documentation, data conversions, configuration, testing, end user training, and reporting progress on activities related to the program.
• Review and approve FICO configuration changes and provide documentation as required by the change management process.
• Document functional specifications and work closely with ABAP resources to perform thorough testing for system enhancements and corrections during project phases and steady-state support.
• Provide back-up support for other functional areas and share knowledge with teammates and business representatives.
• Work closely with Basis and ABAP resources to maintain custom programs, batch jobs, and security updates.
• Develop and maintain defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, acting as a single point of contact.
• Conduct risk-based audits of technology systems, evaluate IT risks, test controls, and help prepare reports to provide independent assurance of an organization’s information security and resilience.
• Actively support FICO functionality in SAP as required by the service level agreement.
• Comply with application support processes, and ensure FICO requests and incidents for support are handled according to agreed procedures.
• Engage with business resources, technical resources, and project managers or Project Management Office to ensure correct products are produced in a timely fashion.
• Contribute to the creation and review of a systems capability strategy which meets the strategic requirements of the business.
• Identify requirements and specify business process improvements in systems, data, practices, procedures, organization, and equipment.
• Analyze business processes; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches, typically leveraging technological components.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures and the overall information management strategy.
• Maintain awareness of global needs of the organization and promote the benefits of a common IT deployment approach.
• Maintain awareness of opportunities provided by new technology/functionality to address challenges or enable new ways of working.
• Promote and ensure use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Programming/Systems or Computer Science or another related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in design, development, and implementation of software systems, preferably in Manufacturing; track record of large-scale integrations and servicing.
  • Broad FICO configuration experience including implementations and production support in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of production support experience including offshore/on-shore staffing models with 10-12 years of overall FICO SAP experience.
  • FICO sub-module experience including GL, AR, AP, AM, BL, PC, CCA at a minimum; PA, PCA, integrating with BCS, and PS is a plus.
  • Experience with sales tax software interfaces such as Vertex.
  • Completed multiple successful full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, MDM, and GRC tools; familiarity with integration points to other SAP modules.
  • Familiar with tools for creating RICEF items: CATT, LSMW, ABAP Query & Report Writer.
  • Experience in scoping, requirements gathering/definition, configuration, testing, cutover, and support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in SAP across functional areas; strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Additional competencies: management of business demands, progress reporting, service desk ticketing (e.g., ServiceNow), advanced MS Office skills, ITIL framework, organizational change management, and vendor/partner collaboration.
• Personal attributes: ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, collaborate across levels, maintain confidentiality, drive results, provide constructive feedback, and demonstrate professionalism.
