Job summary

Quick Summary of the role

The Sr. Sales Enablement Partner plans, designs, develops and delivers effective technical training initiatives for F5’s Solutions Engineering and Channel teams around the world. You will use skills and knowledge of F5 solutions to drive the worldwide enablement programs to build pipeline growth and sales revenue.


Primary responsibilities


  • Leverage modern AI platforms and emerging technology features to rapidly analyze technical training needs and accelerate the development and delivery of learning materials.

  • Align closely with Field Enablement leadership, Technical Sales leadership, and Product Management to proactively identify skills gaps and strategically introduce emerging technical topics and architectures into enablement curriculum.

  • Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive suite of technical courseware including hands‑on lab guides, architectural presentations, on‑demand web‑based training, demo guides, and real‑world role‑play scenarios for internal technical sales teams and partner networks.

  • Orchestrate and deliver high‑impact technical training in both virtual and in‑person environments, utilizing active‑learning facilitation methodologies to engage global technical sales audiences.

  • Mentor and evaluate technical learners on curriculum completion, utilizing structured assessments of their technical presentation delivery, whiteboard capabilities, and live product demonstrations.

  • Apply and continuously improve program measurements to analyze and report on the field‑readiness impact, business outcomes, and overall success of enablement programs.

  • Collaborate on other assigned projects and logistics coordination as needed (e.g., room set up, invites, etc.).

  • Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • In‑depth knowledge of security services, SaaS platforms, cloud, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and networking computing concepts (e.g., WAF, public cloud platforms, application programming, automation tools, scripting languages).

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand technical concepts including learning new technologies.

  • Experience leading end‑to‑end instructional design process‑based methodology (analysis, design, development, and delivery) to build curriculum delivered in multiple modes (web‑based, instructor‑led, asynchronous).

  • Ability to build role‑based learning paths, launch readiness programs, and sales assets that drive adoption and field success.

  • Ability to present, instruct, and evaluate students on both technical and sales skills.

  • Proven track record of moving beyond passive lectures to facilitate highly interactive, cohort‑based learning experiences and simulated customer role‑plays.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience defining success metrics and using data to measure enablement effectiveness.

  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience working with virtual environments, public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern application architectures (e.g., Kubernetes) to build training labs or demonstrate technical solutions.

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical pre‑sales (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer), technical consulting, or similar customer‑facing technical role.

  • BA/BS degree (preferably in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience utilizing modern learning technologies, enablement platforms, and AI tools to accelerate content development and analyze field readiness.


Physical Demands and Work Environment


  • This role reports to the Director, Technical Sales Enablement and is based in Seattle, Washington, USA, with flexibility to work remotely.

  • While we encourage remote/virtual meetings, the nature of the role could require travel up to 20% of the time and working across time zones.

The annual base pay for this position is: $130,200.00 - $195,400.00


F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
