Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC seeks a Senior SailPoint Engineer to support a DoD ICAM modernization program. Remote role, must reside near an Air Force CAC issuing site; active Secret clearance required.

3 openings, direct hire. You will configure SailPoint IdentityIQ at scale, automate provisioning, SoD, access certifications, and build connectors while collaborating with application owners during migration to Zero Trust.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise Identity and Access Management experience with hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ expertise.
• Experience supporting federal ICAM/IAM/IGA environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure automated provisioning, SoD policies, and access certification campaigns in SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Write custom rules and scripts supporting the identity lifecycle (joiner, mover, leaver)
• Build and test connectors to authoritative sources and directories
• Troubleshoot entitlement aggregation and synchronization issues in real time
• Execute standardized application onboarding playbooks to meet high-volume integration targets
• Partner with application owners to rationalize and de-conflict authorization groups during migration
• Resolve defects alongside application owners during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and contribute to automation of onboarding and configuration
• Ensure all configurations enforce Department of the Air Force Zero Trust compliance requirements

Position Title: Senior SailPoint Engineer (IdentityIQ) | ICAM | Active Secret | Remote

Location: Remote (must reside within driving distance of an Air Force CAC issuing site)

Clearance Requirements: Active, fully adjudicated Secret clearance required (Top Secret acceptable; interim clearances not accepted)

Position Status: Full Time (Direct Hire), 3 openings, immediate start

Pay Rate: Up to $150,000 per year

Position Description

Join a fully funded, large-scale Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) modernization program supporting the Department of the Air Force. Over the next 2.5 years, thousands of applications will migrate from legacy authentication to a unified Okta and SailPoint platform built on Zero Trust principles.

As a Senior SailPoint Engineer, you will be the hands‑on technical force behind identity governance and administration (IGA) on this program. You will configure, automate, and troubleshoot SailPoint IdentityIQ at scale, working directly with application owners to move legacy workloads into a modern access management framework.

• Configure automated provisioning, segregation of duties (SoD) policies, and access certification campaigns in SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Write custom rules and scripts supporting the identity lifecycle (joiner, mover, leaver)
• Build and test connectors to authoritative sources and directories
• Troubleshoot entitlement aggregation and synchronization issues in real time
• Execute standardized application onboarding playbooks to meet high-volume integration targets
• Partner with application owners to rationalize and de-conflict authorization groups during migration
• Resolve defects alongside application owners during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and contribute to automation of onboarding and configuration

Required Skills/Education

• 8+ years of enterprise Identity and Access Management experience, with deep hands‑on SailPoint IdentityIQ expertise
• Experience supporting federal customers in ICAM, IAM, or IGA environments
• SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, or equivalent demonstrated expertise
• DoD 8140 compliant certification (Security+ minimum) required prior to start
• Proven experience with application onboarding, provisioning, access certifications, and SoD policy configuration
• Hands‑on experience building connectors and writing IdentityIQ rules (BeanShell/Java)
• Experience migrating legacy applications and authorization models into a modern IGA platform
• Active, fully adjudicated Secret clearance
• Must live within driving distance of an Air Force CAC issuing site (travel at candidate's own expense)

Preferred

• Experience with automation, scripting, or AI‑assisted tooling for identity workflows
• Familiarity with Okta or other access management platforms
• Experience in DoD or Department of the Air Force environments
