The Role:

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Research Scientist specializing in Computer Vision and Robotics. In this role, you will lead cutting‑edge research and translate your findings into practical, innovative product solutions. You will serve as a domain expert collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to shape the future of healthcare technology.

Qualification & Requirements:
  • PhD Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field;
  • 8+ years of experience in research and development in 2D/3D Computer Vision or Robotics;
  • Strong knowledge in state-of-the-art computer vision, machine learning and robotics technologies;
  • Strong programming skills with at least one programming language such as C++ and Python;
  • Extensive experience in conducting cutting edge research with successful outcome;
  • Excellent track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related fields (e.g. CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, RSS, TPAMI, IJCV, IJRR, etc.);
  • Strong ability to develop of practical solutions to challenging problems;
  • Strong writing, communication, and cross discipline collaboration skills;
  • Strong experience and knowledge in Deep Learning and AI-related technologies;
  • Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and Pytorch;
  • Experience with OpenCV, ROS, PCL or VTK is a plus;
  • Experience with RGBD sensors;
  • Experience with embedded systems and edge‑based AI systems is a plus;
  • Proven technical leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop computer vision and robotics algorithms;
  • Extend and improve company's existing algorithms and libraries;
  • Work closely with colleagues and management to develop company assets in computer vision and robotics;
  • Lead cutting‑edge research and transfer research results into practical product solutions;
  • Establish strong relationship with potential customers and clinical partners;
  • Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a nice team‑working environment;
  • Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues and interns;
  • Explore new applications and business opportunities in line with the team’s research directions and technologies;
  • Serve as domain expert in cross‑team/function discussions;
  • Be ambitious to lead the changes in future Healthcare with innovations.
