The Department of Microbiology & Immunology have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Associate 1 to work on-site full time in Miami, FL.

CORE JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Research Associate 1, SOM provides laboratory-based support for the University’s research activities by tackling the more specialized and complex projects and experiments. Additionally, the incumbent leverages his/her expertise in training and mentoring department staff, students, and less experienced research associates.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Department Specific Functions

• 1. Assist in lab maintenance
• 2. Assist in cell separation from whole blood samples.
• 3. Assist in handling biologic samples from study participants.
• 4. Help in manuscript preparation including literature search, figures and other tasks.
• 5. Help in data analysis as needed.
