Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a focused professional to optimize aircraft maintenance programs for the A/C fleet, aiming for top-tier safety, legal fitness, and reliability at minimum cost. The role requires collaboration across departments and FAA coordination.

Qualified candidates bring a Bachelor's in Engineering/Aircraft Maintenance, 7+ years of related air carrier experience, and an A&P license. On-site work in Memphis, TN is expected five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent in Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance or related technical discipline.
• Seven (7) years related air carrier experience involving aircraft maintenance programs, reliability, engineering or aircraft maintenance covered under FAA advisory circulars 120-17B, 120-16G, 25-19A and FAR 12.
• A&P licenses required.

Essential Functions

• Monitors maintenance metrics and other KPI to understand performance and improvement opportunities.
• Leads root cause analysis on equipment or systems failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Partners with site compliance and safety to champion equipment related root causes that impact site operations.
• Ensures multi-department and FAA cross functional coordination and communication on technical program issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Project management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills.

Knowledge of MSG-3 theory, process and application.

Knowledge of air carrier maintenance programs.

Strong working/practical knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications, data base skills and statistical analysis and automation tools.

Strong oral and written communication abilities and human relations skills.

Additional Details:

This posting will close at 5PM September 21, 2026. The desired location for this position is Memphis; TN. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
