Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr Regulatory Specialist in Itasca, IL for a contract-to-hire role. The position emphasizes regulatory leadership on nutrition panels, ingredient statements, and technical data sheets, including halal, kosher, organic, RSPO, and fair trade certifications.

The role requires experience with international regulations and US-market label reviews, plus strong document management and cross-functional collaboration with RD&A, QA, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Regulatory expertise in ingredient statements, nutrition labels, and kosher certification.
• 7+ years of regulatory experience focused on nutritional panels, labels, and technical data sheets.
• Experience with halal, kosher, organic, RSPO and fair trade certifications.
• Proficiency in managing customer forms and support, handling general inquiries, and working with customer portals.
• Experience with international regulations, including label review for US-market products.

Essential Skills

• Experience with international regulations, including label review for products intended for sale in the US.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Itasca, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $52.88/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
