UC San Diego Health in La Jolla seeks a Radiology Tech to join the La Jolla Radiology team at Jacobs Medical Center. This 100% career appointment offers evening shifts Tue-Sat with hourly pay between $48.08 and $64.85.

Initial level will be Rad Tech or Sr Rad Tech depending on experience and certifications. The job requires California CRT-R and CRT-F within six months, ARRT(R.T.(R)), and BART or BLS at hire with plans to obtain BART.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
• CRT-R certification required.
• CRT-F within six months of hire (if Sr).
• ARRT(R.T.(R)) certification.
• BART or BLS at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Assist other technologists and serve as a Diagnostic SME.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and position patients per protocols, enter data accurately.
• Review images for technical quality and documentation.
