The WW Grocery Private Brands team is looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced, and analytical Senior Quality & Operations Manager. You will join a high-powered, fun and collaborative work environment on the private brands team where you will help build and scale our business within both physical stores and online channels.
This role ensures that products are consistently produced to our quality expectations by assessing supplier capability, technical specifications, and first production readiness with private label manufacturers. You will be expected to drive activities across several stakeholder teams including Food Safety, Product Management, Commercialization, Supply Chain, and suppliers to launch high quality food products. Post-launch, you will be responsible for investigations and on-going quality and operations management.
You will work directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders across food categories to support formula and packaging development, interact with and influence suppliers to plan first productions, lead quality incident investigations, and monitor supplier performance. This role requires strong experience in consumer goods manufacturing, preferably in USDA and/or FDA regulated spaces.
To succeed in role, you must be obsessed with driving quality standards to earn and maintain customer trust. You'll also need to be comfortable with building strategy from ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be self-motivated to learn new categories quickly. Our quality managers have strong writing and communication skills coupled with a vision for quality. They have the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. They can also identify patterns from large sets of data and are motivated by a fast-paced dynamic environment.
