Job summary

Digital Management LLC in McLean, VA, is hiring a Sr QA Engineer – Big Data to drive quality across data-intensive platforms. You will build test strategies, automate complex test scenarios, and validate ETL, API, and performance under heavy data loads.

The role requires a BS in CS or EE and 2 years in QA/testing, with hands-on experience with HP QC/ALM, HP Load Runner, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, and Tricentis Tosca. Travel is not required, relocation may be possible.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Electronics Eng and 2 years QA/software testing experience.
• Experience testing using HP QC/HP ALM, Load Runner, Selenium, JMeter, Tosca, SAP BO.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business analysis, including requirements elicitation and documentation support.
• Develop test strategies for functional and nonfunctional entities.
• Test automation architecture and test scripts preparation.
• Execute automated test scripts to validate system performance and functionality.
• Prepare Test Reports (Test Run Report, Crash Report, Incident Report, Test Cycle Report, Test Summary Report).
• Perform defect tracking and manage defect resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Prepare detailed use case documents to support system design and validation.
• Participate in regular review meetings with client stakeholders to communicate progress and gather feedback.
• Perform database testing to validate data integrity and system interactions.
• Conduct API testing to ensure proper integration and functionality of system interfaces.
• Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Conduct performance and load testing to assess system scalability and responsiveness.
• Develop mock-ups to support requirements validation and user interface design.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electronics engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related software quality assurance engineer/software tester position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.

Special Requirements:

2 years of verifiable experience testing software applications employing the following tools and technologies: HP QC, HP ALM, HP Load Runner, Selenium Webdriver, Tricentis – TOSCA, JMeter, SAP BO.
