Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Prototype Build Technician to help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle prototypes. You will build prototype vehicles, systems and subsystems, working closely with Automotive Technicians and design engineers to identify and resolve assembly and service issues.

The role requires a degree in Automotive Technology or ASE certification, plus 2+ years of luxury automobile technician experience, the ability to travel, and the toolkit you bring to the job.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekend, etc...
  • Ability to travel.
  • Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical problems.
  • 2+ years Luxury Automobile Technician experience.
  • You bring your own professional automotive toolbox.

As a Prototype Build Technician, you will help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and be excellent at multi-tasking.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (hourly): $42—$58 USD

Compensation & Benefits:

Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
